Looming cognitive style as a predictor of social anxiety

Looming Cognitive Style (LCS) has been proposed as a cognitive vulnerability factor specific to anxiety. This study aims to investigate the predictive role of LCS on trait and state social anxiety. Effect of working capital management and solvency on profitability: Case of bist basic metal sector companies

In this research, effect of WCM (known for optimization of liquidity and efficiency) and solvency on profitability has been analyzed for basic metal sector companies listed in BİST in 2018-2022. Shocks, jumps, booms, and busts are typical large fluctuation markers that appear in crisis. Identifying financial crises and estimating leading indicators with strong relations during crisis periods have an essential role in the literature. This thesis examines the dynamic co-movements of leading indicators' multifractal features to identify financial crises due to large fluctuations.
