This study aims at exploring Elif Batuman’s The Idiot and Either/Or from a transcultural perspective. This study examines Elif Batuman’s novels from an interdisciplinary perspective combining Wolfgang Welsch’s philosophical approach to transculturalism, transcultural literary studies as well as Bakhtinian concepts such as polyphony and intertextuality. The present dissertation aims to analyse Victorian society and its reflection in the 19th-century novels such as Hard Times and Oliver Twist within the feminist framework. The relationship between rejection sensitivity and somatization: The mediator role of interpersonal difficulties

The aim of the current study was to examine the predictive role of somatization and investigate the role of interpersonal difficulties in the relationship between rejection sensitivity and somatization on a group of university students. Participants (298) over the age of 18 were included in the study.
