Racism among Iranian intellectuals (1925-1979)

Collective memory and journalism in the context of femicide

This study examines the news production processes about femicide, a universal problem, in the Turkish press within the context of collective memory. In this study, the concept of spatial perception in curating and the stages of spatial usage from the preservation to the presentation of artworks throughout history are examined. The aim of the present study is to explore the emancipatory potential of revisionist mythmaking strategies employed in two contemporary novels, Margaret Atwood’s The Penelopiad (2005) and Latife Tekin’s Muinar (2006), through dialogic, intertextual, and deconstructive relations.
