An anthropological approach to the status of women in circassian culture: the case of the village of Soğucak

This qualitative study aims to explore the status of women in Circassian Culture through the lens of Feminist Anthropology. Soğucak village, one of the Circassian villages in Yalova, was chosen as a sample in the research. The research is prepared using qualitative research techniques, participant observation, and in-depth interviews. This study is based on a comparison of two interpretations which have been developed on Kant's philosophy. The first of these interpretations belongs to Heidegger and claims that Kant's philosophy is fundamentally an ontology, moreover a fundamental ontology based on the analysis of finite human whatness. This study aims to investigate the relationship between emotional clarity, adult attachment and emotional eating. The research was carried out during the Coronavirus epidemic, in two periods (self- quarantine and new normal periods) with and without governmental restrictions.
