Bu çalışma, oryantalist resim örnekleri arasında sıklıkla karşılaşılan mahrem alan çalışmalarının oryantalist resmi tanımlamada neden daha çok kullanıldığını keşfetmek için yapılmıştır. Öncelikle Batı dünyasındaki Oryantalizm kavramı incelenmiş ve bu kavramın çalışılmasında neden Doğu ve Doğu'ya özgü kavramlar ile sosyal, siyasal ve kültürel faktörlerin ilgi konusu olduğu incelenmiştir. Political cycles and transitional justice: Evidence from Uruguay and Chile

This study concentrates on how countries deal with the mass human rights violations, large-scale massacres, and social abuses experienced during authoritarian rule. A comparative research is conducted, focusing on the differences and similarities between societies governed by bureaucratic authoritarian systems. Looming cognitive style as a predictor of social anxiety

Looming Cognitive Style (LCS) has been proposed as a cognitive vulnerability factor specific to anxiety. This study aims to investigate the predictive role of LCS on trait and state social anxiety. Shocks, jumps, booms, and busts are typical large fluctuation markers that appear in crisis. Identifying financial crises and estimating leading indicators with strong relations during crisis periods have an essential role in the literature. This thesis examines the dynamic co-movements of leading indicators' multifractal features to identify financial crises due to large fluctuations. The aim of the present study is to explore the emancipatory potential of revisionist mythmaking strategies employed in two contemporary novels, Margaret Atwood’s The Penelopiad (2005) and Latife Tekin’s Muinar (2006), through dialogic, intertextual, and deconstructive relations.
