Alexithymia and personality aspects in patients with panic disorder and/or major depressive disorder and the relationship between these aspects and the childhood traumas of the patients

The present study aims to understand the relationship between alexithymia and personality in patients with major depressive disorder (MDD) and/or panic disorder (PD) in the context of childhood traumas. The total sample of the study consists of 161 people. The patient group consists of 103 people, 50 with MDD, and 53 with PD. The control group consists of 58 healthy people. Regardless of the cultural differences, the 19th century Victorian England and Tanzimat Period in Ottoman Empire had similar expectations from women. The two novelists from these two countries, Thomas Hardy and Ahmet Mithat Efendi, had critical attitude towards such expectations. The effects of industrial revolutions on unemployment

In this study, after briefly mentioning the important turning points for the history of humanity, the social structure before and after the Industrial Revolution will be discussed comparatively and after briefly mentioning the types of unemployment that are a part of our subject, four main Industrial Revolutions will be mentioned. Forecasting realized volatility of BIST indices with har-type models

In this paper, realized volatility of a selection of BIST Indices are forecasted with Heterogeneous Autoregressive Model (HAR) and its variations. For this purpose, ticks between 2001 and 2021 are used to generate 5-minute returns, which formed the basis for calculations of realized volatility and other realized measures.
