The effects of industrial revolutions on unemployment

In this study, after briefly mentioning the important turning points for the history of humanity, the social structure before and after the Industrial Revolution will be discussed comparatively and after briefly mentioning the types of unemployment that are a part of our subject, four main Industrial Revolutions will be mentioned. Finally, the positive and negative effects of Industrial Revolutions on unemployment will be discussed.

Comparison of monstrous figures in the works of H.P Lovecraft and China Miéville through Lovecraft’s five definitive elements

The present study compared selected works of H.P. Lovecraft and China Miéville in terms of the representations of monster figures by creating a theoretical framework using Lovecraft’s “Five Definitive Elements of Weird Literature”. Shamanism has been considered as a singular phenomenon in most of the studies carried out about Shamanism so far, and it has not been taken into consideration that there are different types of Shamanism. At the end of the 19th century, between 1880-1881, Sheikh Ubeydullah, the leader of the Naqshbandi sect, attacked the cities and villages of the border regions of Iran and the Ottoman Empire and caused many killings and loots in the Qajar Empire's Azerbaijan state.
