In this study, it was tried to determine the mediating role of organizational cynicism perceptions of employees in the effect of managerial power sources applied by five-star hotel management managers on their intention to leave. The research universe of the study is the five-star hotel businesses in Istanbul. The sample of the research consists of 272 hotel employees determined by random sampling method among the employees in these enterprises, and the survey method was used in the research. Data were collected by face-to- face and online survey method. The data obtained as a result of the research were analyzed through the statist . . .ical program called SPSS. In this context, correlation analysis was performed to determine the relationships between the variables. As a result of the analysis; A negative and significant relationship was found between managerial power sources, organizational cynicism and turnover intention. A positive and significant relationship was found between organizational cynicism and turnover intention. Regression analysis was performed to look at the effects of variables on each other. As a result of this analysis; It has been seen that managerial power sources have a negative and significant effect on turnover intention and organizational cynicism. It was determined that organizational cynicism had a positive and significant effect on intention to leave. The Sobel test was applied to determine the mediating role of organizational cynicism perceptions of employees in the effect of applied managerial power sources on their intention to leave. According to the results of the analysis, it was determined that the mediating role of organizational cynicism was significant in the effect of managerial power sources on turnover intention
White-collar employees working in the textile industry work in a dynamic, intense and stressful environment that requires effort to present the most accurate and completed work outputs to their internal stakeholders, teams and company. The workload and pressure in this stressful environment require a positive and open-minded leadership style that can motivate and guide textile workers. Based on the stated assumption, the relationship between toxic leadership and work engagement was examined in this study. As a result of the research; it is expected that the toxic leadership behaviors of managers will negatively affect the work engag . . .ement of white-collar employees working in the textile industry. Based on this purpose, some hypotheses were developed to investigate the relationship, and data were obtained from 201 white-collar individuals working in the textile sector through an online survey. In order to collect data, the toxic leadership scale and work engagement scale were used together with demographic questions. All data analyzes were performed using the statistical program SPSS. As a result of the analysis of the data, it has been determined that toxic leadership is a type of leadership that negatively affects the work engagement levels of white-collar workers in the textile industry. The aim of this study is to find out the effects of Basel Criteria on the banking system and SMEs, and how much they are known by the bankers and accounting experts who are the actors of the financial system. In this research, firstly, the role of Basel Criteria of SMEs in Turkey in the crediting process, the collateral structure and the credit pricing processes in the lending stage were examined. In the second part, a survey was conducted with 69 experts (bankers and accountants) who are experts in their fields about the extent to which they create awareness about the benefits of these effects, and the results were analyzed. In the . . . study, it is explained why the BIS and Basel Criteria are needed, how they emerged, why and how banks try to secure themselves. It has been explained how SMEs in Turkey are affected by these regulations and how they should create a collateral structure especially for bank loans, and which issues are taken into account by banks in loan pricing during the loan utilization phase. In this context, Basel 1, Basel 2, Basel 3 were examined in detail. In addition, SMEs in Turkey have been examined in general terms. In the last part, the survey questions and the results were tried to be interpreted with frequency analysis using the statistical program SPSS. According to the analysis; It has been concluded that the Basel Criteria are extremely important and effective for SMEs in the Turkish Banking System
