Oryantalist resimde iç mekan “Mahrem”

Bu çalışma, oryantalist resim örnekleri arasında sıklıkla karşılaşılan mahrem alan çalışmalarının oryantalist resmi tanımlamada neden daha çok kullanıldığını keşfetmek için yapılmıştır. Öncelikle Batı dünyasındaki Oryantalizm kavramı incelenmiş ve bu kavramın çalışılmasında neden Doğu ve Doğu'ya özgü kavramlar ile sosyal, siyasal ve kültürel faktörlerin ilgi konusu olduğu incelenmiştir.
