Weaponizing energy: Anthropological approach to future of war

This thesis intends to offer an explanation to the evolution of war along technological developments mainly focusing in laser systems. The anthropological discussion of the study is based on Actor-Network Theory revealing the interaction among human and nonhuman participants of war network. The present study aims to understand the relationship between alexithymia and personality in patients with major depressive disorder (MDD) and/or panic disorder (PD) in the context of childhood traumas. Looming cognitive style as a predictor of social anxiety

Forecasting realized volatility of BIST indices with har-type models

In this paper, realized volatility of a selection of BIST Indices are forecasted with Heterogeneous Autoregressive Model (HAR) and its variations. For this purpose, ticks between 2001 and 2021 are used to generate 5-minute returns, which formed the basis for calculations of realized volatility and other realized measures.
